ABOUT

Viva la fiesta! Join us for a reading of Dorothy Parker’s best-known short story, “Big Blonde.” Dorothy Parker was an American writer, poet, and critic during the Jazz Age. She is best known for her wicked wit and holding her own with the literary greats of the Algonquin Round Table. Much of her work was published in The New Yorker and she worked on the film, A Star Is Born, which won an Academy Award. Writer Taddy McAllister will be telling the tale of aging party girl, Hazel Morse, as she realizes she cannot escape the consequences of the life she’s chosen. After, dine and discuss with fellow guests at Supper.

Readings will start at 6:30PM and dinner is at 8:00PM.
