Join us inside Larder to taste an assortment of delicious, handcrafted artisanal cheeses from River Whey Creamery. Founder Susan Rigg left her life in the book retail business behind to follow her passion for cooking to the Culinary Institute of America schools in San Antonio and Hyde Park, New York. After continuing her studies with specialized courses on the art and science of cheese, Susan perfected the offering at her Schertz-based creamery, which boasts four fine aged cheeses called Keystone, Caldera España, The Welshman, and Indigo Ridge, and four fresh seasonal cheeses — St. Clements and Cranberry Frost for the winter months, and Midsummer Surprise and the new Garden Crisp for summer.

This tasting event is free and open to the public.
