ABOUT
Turn a grinning, somewhat creepy sugar skull (or sugar cookie) into a thing of beauty, guided by Maricela Olguin of Sweet Chela’s Bakery. She’ll fill you in on the symbolism of these Day of the Dead essentials and show you how to decorate a classic calavera with colored icing, nonpareils, dragées and other sweet details. Each ticket provides you with the option of three sugar skulls, three sugar cookies, or a mix-and-match assortment.
This event will take place in the Hotel Emma Expo Kitchen. It is free to overnight guests of the hotel, and costs $20 per person for the public.
