Jade Marie Patek hails from a rich musical lineage as the granddaughter of Texas-Czech polka legend, Joe Patek, who delighted crowds at dance halls for decades with his Orchestra. Over the last 10 years, Jade has written songs fueled by her own life experiences, infused with a lot of heart and soul. Her music is purely Texan and highly original, showcasing infusions of Americana andTexas Country with flashes of blues, funk, and soul. She draws inspiration from greats like Janis Joplin, Susan Tedeschi, Sheryl Crow, Alanis Morissette, Bonnie Raitt, Stevie Nicks, and Tracy Chapman.
